The tall pines and the running water have long
made the "Upper Canyon" highly desirable for
both visitors and home owners.

Due to the cooler temperatures, about 10
degrees cooler
than mid-town, fishing for trout or just sitting by
the river bank is a Ruidoso tradition.

The Rio Ruidoso is stocked with trout
several times per year.



Property values have consistently
appreciated substantially.
